Tropical Lu'au at Four Seasons Resorts Lanai
While the majority of events we work on are weddings, there is nothing we love more as an events rental company than to work on a variety of different occasions. What better way to play around with new ideas, creative solutions, and truly show the tricks up our sleeves. The Lanai-based three-day corporate event for Box, Inc., a California-based company, was not only a fantastic creative challenge but also an incredibly fun opportunity for us to infuse the event with various exciting rental solutions. The strikingly beautiful Lu'au Gardens at The Four Seasons Resorts Lanai was the perfect playground for this colorful event, and it is always great to return to Hale O Manele, the open-air pavilion set amidst gorgeous landscaping.
Working together with the incredible event planners Kari Cosentino Events and designers at Belle Destination Weddings & Events, we were able to contribute in creating a fantastic three-day event that surely left its mark in everyone's memories. Just look at Mike Adrian's stunning photos from the event! We love every chance we get to work on Lanai, can't you see why?
When an event takes place on an island as beautiful as Lanai, its naturally striking appeal and landscape orchestrate all the rest of the design elements. Enchanting florals by Teresa Sena Design and fruit native to the island - pineapples and coconuts courtesy of Catered Coconut - were tastefully displayed everywhere and we couldn't get enough of it. We especially enjoyed coming up with creative lighting installations to not only complement the event as a whole but each individual floral piece accompanying the lights.
One of the best parts about this particular event was its diversity when it comes to the actual design of it - combining elements and furniture pieces you wouldn't normally expect to see together while also creating an effortless ease of contemporary chic and relaxed elegance.
The pipe & wood communal tables worked perfectly with the industrial square metal stools and the wood and metal industrial corkscrew stools. These really were the perfect contrasts, and the truly awe-inspiring floral pieces on each table created a lovely balance between the natural setting and the industrial-inspired furniture.
The contrasts didn't stop there. As with any corporate event - and any event altogether, for that matter - it is absolutely essential to create various spaces where the guests can effortlessly mingle. Just look at the relaxed lounge setting around the marble and glass fire pit!
The dinner setting at the Hale O Manele open-air pavilion was both gorgeous yet simple. It was all about the natural elements - wood and florals, and a hint of blue (we're surrounded by the ocean, after all).
Seeing it all come together with such ease was an absolute joy, and we couldn't be more thrilled at how well all the elements worked together. At this point it was time to grab one of the tropically-infused cocktails by Garnish Craft Cocktails and let the senses become alive with all the beautiful impressions around.
