Black Tie Wedding on Maui
There's something about Rebecca and John's wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House that we just can't get enough of! If you love the idea of mixing textures and finishes when it comes to design, then this one is sure to check all of your inspiration boxes.
Luxury destination wedding planner, Unveiled Hawaii, was the driving force behind this incredible and very memorable design scheme. As an event rental company in Hawaii, we were totally on board when asked to join forces with some of Hawaii's top event vendors to create this dynamic oceanfront wedding.
Local Hawaii wedding photographer Chris J. Evans, fused his style perfectly with the elegance and grace you can feel from these images. Photography is one of the most important decisions you will make while planning your wedding and finding the right fit to your style makes all the difference. I think we can all agree, Rebecca and John nailed it!
The beauty of floral on your wedding day truly adds life to your design- it ties everything together. Hawaii wedding florist Mandy Grace Designs brought such rich elegance to the event design with lush floral in creamy white, greenery and stylish pops of black.
Our simple wooden Avignon Ceremony Arch got a treatment of fresh blooms that was soft and understated. The addition of our Ghost Chairs brought a unique and modern touch giving the ceremony design a truly polished appearance.
What better way to offer your guests a little relaxation than with beautifully placed lounge furniture and cocktail tables. Creating thoughtful seating arrangements throughout your event space is a sure fire way to keep the party moving and guest conversation flowing. Come dancing time, you are guaranteed to have a great gathering around the dance floor which we all know- that's where the party is at!
The other must have- a perfectly placed bar- for obvious reasons :-)
Now for us, this is where the fun begins! I mean, look at all these beautiful event rentals! For starters, you have treated your guests to a beautiful destination wedding in Maui, but to top things off, they will feel like royalty sitting down to delightfully dressed tables like these.
There was so much creativity that went into this stylish event design. The perfect pairing of rentals brought together rustic and modern finishes that achieved a clean yet luxurious atmosphere. Our modern Ghost Chairs looked stunning against the powder blue linens from La Tavola, and our retro white Norway Chairs made a brilliant contrast to our rustic Farmhouse Dining Tables topped with exquisite silk runners.
To round out the tabletop decor, lovely floral centerpieces and perfectly layered place settings brought the whole look together. As you can see, it was purely magical!
Lighting is an essential component to consider in your event design and we love how romantic our cafe strand lighting and white lanterns looked once the sun went down- perfect for an end of the evening photo op.
We truly enjoyed working on this Maui wedding and wish Rebecca & John a lifetime of love and happiness. Cheers and Aloha from our team at Inspiration Events Hawaii!
